Pierogi Fest is a annual festival that takes place the last weekend of July in downtown Whiting, Indiana. Pierogi Fest was created with the intension to celebrate and remember the Polish ethnicity. With live polka music and dancing, babushka ladies, and Mr. Pierogi himself, this is a fest everyone should attend. The weekend long fest has blocks of polish and other ethnic foods. Each year millions of people flood the streets of Whiting, Indiana to see the largest pierogi, and have their favorite foods. This festival is a great family event.
