Notre Dame, Indiana is an unincorporated community surrounded by the city of South Bend, Indiana in northern Indiana's county of St Joseph.

About Notre Dame:

Notre Dame, Indiana includes three college campuses: most famously, of course, is the University of Notre Dame, home of the "Fighting Irish." The other two colleges are Saint Mary's College and Holy Cross College. As an unincorporated community, Notre Dame has it's own post office, police force, and fire department, as well as supplying its own water and power utilities. But because Notre Dame is an unincorporated community, it does not have a municipal government.
