Holland Tulip Time Festival

The Holland Tulip Time Festival is an annual event that celebrate's Dutch heritage and culture and also showcases tulips. The festival was introduced in 1927 by a school teacher who wanted to have tulips planted all over town because of its close ties to the Netherlands. The next year 100,000 bulbs were planted all over town. In the following years the festival grew and had more events.
Today the festival is full of family fun including live music, parades, food, arts and crafts and of course many many tulips!
